Lesson 4 — Test it with one conversation

Lesson 4 of 4

Learn

The sheet is your best guess. The conversation is the truth.

Take your sheet to one person who matches your "who" — ideally someone you already know, because warm beats cold for learning. And here is the discipline that separates discovery from pitching: you are not selling anything today. You are asking about their Tuesday.

Three questions do the work. *"How do you handle X at the moment?"* — and let them talk. *"What does that cost you, in time or money?"* — get their number, not yours. *"If that took care of itself, what would that be worth?"* — this is them pricing the fix, which is worth more than any price you could invent.

Do not explain AI. Do not demo anything. If they lean in and ask "could you actually do that?" — that lean is the signal you came for, and "let me show you something next week" is the perfect answer. It sets up exactly what the next course teaches.

Update the sheet with what you heard. If the conversation confirmed it, you have a validated niche and a warm prospect. If it killed the idea, it cost you one coffee — the cheapest lesson in business.

⚡ Do

Book the conversation — today, by message, with a real person. Have it this week. Update your niche sheet with their words and their numbers. You have completed Spot the Opportunity, and you are one course away from building for them.
