Lesson 3 — The one-page niche sheet

Lesson 3 of 4

Learn

Ideas feel solid until they are written down. The niche sheet is one page, five lines, and it is where weak ideas go to die cheaply.

Who, exactly. Not "restaurants" — "family-run restaurants near me that take bookings over WhatsApp." You should be able to name three real ones.

The pain, in their words. What they would say, not what you would say. "I answer the phone while my hands are in dough."

What it costs them today. Hours per week, or money per month. A number, even rough.

What the agent does. One sentence, concrete: "Answers menu and hours questions and drafts booking confirmations for the owner to approve."

Why they would pay. The cost of the pain versus the price of the fix. If the pain costs five hours a week, a fix priced at one hour's value is easy arithmetic.

Fill it for both candidates. Usually one sheet writes itself and one fights you the whole way. Trust that feeling — it is data.

⚡ Do

Complete a niche sheet for your strongest candidate. Every line filled, real names, a real cost number. This page is the input to everything that follows.
